TRADITION BECOMES MANUFACTURINGMolino Favero core business is manufacturing and processing maize flours and now rice too. These cereals have compatible processing procedures for both the absence of gluten and for their starchy structure. Ever since 1925, four generations have been dedicated to this art following the ongoing product evolution and transformation; over the years, going from millstone grinding to today’s modern, fully computerised milling systems. The Mill is based in Padua in the centre of an area, Veneto, where maize has always had a main role in food tradition. Nowadays, different flour types are produced to offer a range satisfying the needs of the food industry, the professional and the home consumer. Being maize-oriented is the real pivot of our company mission; voted in recent years towards greater penetration of the industrial and supermarket markets in a sector where high professional and technological specialisation is a must. Analysing production capacity, (40,000 tons/year of cereals turned into flours) means we can say that the company has a solid base with a highly positive future. |
